last saturday was the heroes and villians costume party. it was alot of fun. there were some really good costumes and some really uninspired ones.

sectionals

today was alot of fun, so heres the rundown

6:30 - woke up and got my bag ready with snacks and drinks and such
7:00 - met everyone in the quad
7:15ish - started driving over to the fields in stu's car
7:45ish - got the fields and threw around for a bit
9:00 - first game against spank (penn state team) we lost
here i lost track of time all together
- had a bye for the next round of games
- played one of the cmu teams and won
- played the other pitt team and won
- played the other cmu team and won
- watched the other pitt team play, and beat, spank.
- overall team fraggle (which i was on) got 1st, team nick (the other pitt team) got 2nd, and spank ended up at 3rd.

then had the 30 minutes carride back to pitt in the back seat of a civic with 3 other guys, really cramped. foot was so asleep by the end i could barely walk. and i was starving so i went to the union to eat with patrick and kyle. then i took a shower and am here. the end.

so this week has been mostly uneventful, went to classes and all that fun stuff

the fun stuff:
-i'm part of team fraggle for sectionals this saturday which will be alot of fun and we will do awesome at.
-wed, corrie made cookies so i went over there to eat them. they were delicious. afterwards we watched edward scissorhands, which is one of the greatest movies ever.
-thu, finally went to india garden with a bunch of the guys, it was actually really good, and not nearly as spicy as everyone kept saying it would be.
-tomorrow is sectionals and it will be awesome.

el weekend

fri -went to the waterfront with my sister and i bought some stuff i needed, and didn't need, like a camera. later i watched garden state with ben, kristen, and pav. then i tried going to wendy's around 11ish, and it closes at 9!!! whats up with that, what restuarant 2 blocks away from a college closes at 9. crazy. tried to find something to do, but its pretty much all party and drink. so i called corrie and we ended up throwing a frisbee around for a bit.

sat - dont remember what i did during the day. i went with eddie and two of his friends to go play raquetball, that was alot of fun. at night the ultimate teams were suppose to go on a photo scavenger hunt, but the vet running it was sleeping so that didn't work, we then went to dave and andy's for ice cream and it was yummy. then a party at the guy's house, it wasn't as good as all the other ones, there were way too many people who didn't play ultimate there. one of the things i liked about the other ones was that you knew everyone there and could just go talk and hang out and eat and dance and do whatever.

sun - went to mass with some of the Danger girls, had to go downtown to take pictures for my freshman studies class, played some pickup, then went to the first cotton club meeting, there were alot of people there, hopefully it will be fun, i didn't go to the dance thing though because i have a good bit of homework to do and should probably do laundry too.

need ideas

ok, i decided that i'm going to make a website and actually keep updating it for more than a week...
now, since im using all my creativeness to make it look good i need some good ideas as to what to actually put on the site. for example, and about me page, a page about ultimate, picture galleries, etc. i need stuff more involved and less boring than those things though. if you have any ideas then im me or post a comment.

anyway, it's been around a week since my last post so i might as well update. basically everything i've done since then has been ultimate related in some way

wed - practice, had to leave early to go to my Slovak class, then watched I Bleed Black, an ultimate documentary on the UCSB Black Tides

thurs - practice, then had baja fresh at the girls' house

fri - practice, party at the guys' house

sat - rookie game vs cmu, of course we won, the vets won their game too, and i dont know which girls team won. afterwards was a bbq at the girl's house. i left for a little bit because i was going to go get cleaned up and go to the pitt/notre dame game, but when i got back to my dorm i started thinking i could either go watch a sport i dont really care about surrounded by people i dont know and most likely be bored and not have fun, or go back to the bbq and hang out with people who i know are cool and have a good time. that was a tough choice. so i went back to the party and had more fun, yay. i even met another person who doesn't drink. one thing i really like about the ultimate teams is that noone ever pressures me to drink, they offer but whenever i say that i dont drink everyone has always seemed respectful of that and never said anything negative about it.

sun - i went with my dad and stepmom and sister to go see my grandma and uncle in johnstown, then went to the folkfest for a little bit

thats about it, probably going to go play some pick up in an hour or so.
