la da da

Its been spring break since my last post/rant and aside from that its been pretty good. Got some good frisbee in the rain in on Saturday and pretty much nothing else. Tried to take my dog running through Arcadia park and ran into two problems 1. she doesn't like driving in my car very much and 2. she gets tired after like 10 minutes. I also came to the conclusion that I really need a workout buddy, I have no motivation when I'm by myself, so if anyone wants to please tell me. Today was youth group, got there early and played frisbee, of course. It was really hot though, I hate it when it gets this hot out, and its only spring. Then we went to the church and had Holy Hour which is always incredible. After that we went to the parish hall and listened to the Franciscan Friars talk. They are always to much fun. Fr Juniper, Br Christian, and Br John were there to go to Youth 2000 this weekend. After all that and talking to people for an hour I met up with Brian, Matt, Hillary, and Tony at Rosa's and had good talks. I always love talking to people from Church, always have so much deeper conversations than I ever do with most people from school.

and tomorrow morning I leave to go to Pittsburgh, going to visit University of Pittsburgh and probably have to pick where I want to go to college really soon too.

see you guys (all 2-3 of you who read this) Sunday when I get back.

sometimes i feel so all alone

so today wasnt the best start of spring break. nothing bad but just one of those times, which i seem to be having alot, where i feel like i dont really know my friends. alot of people i only know from youth group and church and all i know is how they act and talk there, but when you see how different they live there lives when they aren't around other church people, you dont really know what to think. people who you have looked up to and think "i wish i could be as good a person as ___ is" then they turn around and do things that you would never expect them to do. people who ive grown to trust and think im really good, close friends with. when you see things like this happen how are you suppose to continue trusting in them? are they really even your friends? how are you suppose to know who they truly are, are they the person you see or the one that they dont show you? have they had this whole other part of them the whole time you've been friends and you were just always oblivious to or did they just start to change? does the other person see you as good of a friend as you saw them? do you even have the same view of a friendship? (friend/aquaintence rant to come later maybe)

and worse about this is the one person that will read this and know exactly what im talking about is the one who it doesn't apply to.

sigh,
Jonathan "iwriteinonelongparagraph" K.

p.s. thanks genna and sydney for the good conversations, it helps alot.

so its been awhile...

haven't updated in awhile. again. so i will. lets see...

missed an excon meeting because i was sick

did the fashion show. wore a green silk shirt and some really soft black pants from Harold's. it was pretty fun, not as much as i hoped but still good.

dad was in town to watch my sister for part of her spring break.

missed youth group because of a stupid parent pep rally which neither i nor my parents wanted to go to, but it was "mandatory" for tennis so i went. blah

haven't been youth nights because of spring break, all mychurch friends had spring break last week and this week, and mine is next week, sucks, but oh well.

now stuff coming up, frisbee saturday, might go to pittsburgh for a few days. think thats about it

im not dead yet

woo, totally forgot about this thing. ill try to remember all the fun stuff thats happened since last update

ok looking at my little calendar thing, it says i haven't done much.

so

been to youth group a few times which is always an incredibly fun time. get to hang out with all my awesome church friends who i really should start to make an effort to get to know better.

youth nights have been pretty fun too, tonight we did the mime stations of the cross. i got to take pictures :) although none of them came out too good because the lighting was too low and long exposure + movement = blurry pictures

saturday we played ultimate frisbee! hopefully this will be a weekly thing and wont fizzle out after just a few times. it was alot of fun. we played for a few hours then went to the church to pray a divine mercy then out for lunch. i got some wendy's with chris, erika, and emily then went over to rosa's to eat with everyone else. a bunch of us ate some nasty mixes of food for fun. chris proved erika and emily cant not smile for more than 10 seconds. then they started spitting ice at each other. it was funny.

thats all i can think of for now.
